Creating a successful business on Social Media isn’t about having the most followers. In fact, over-emphasizing your follower count can produce the opposite effect, creating a large but disengaged audience that can actually limit your brand’s potential.

The key to success on Social Media is all about building an engaged community of brand enthusiasts who have come to trust and admire your brand, and it can all be done without any paid advertising. I’ve done it before, and I want to help you find the same success. It’s not only the best way to build a brand… it can also be personally fulfilling (it has been for me)!

My Experience as a Podcaster and Entrepreneur

While I’ve spent the majority of my career as a corporate marketer, I started my own brand in 2017 (Imagineer Podcast) because I wanted to pursue something I was passionate about (Disney┬«) and build a community of optimists. The show has afforded me the opportunity to forge friendships with Disney Imagineers and interview Disney Legends. And as a side hustle outside my day job, it’s helped pay for my Disney vacations. Talk about a dream come true (for me at least)!

To make this dream a reality required a focused and strategic approach in building not the largest community but the right community. This methodology has actually helped me to grow to over 100K followers over time without spending a dollar on advertising or get-followers-quick schemes. It’s also helped me generate millions of podcast downloads and hundreds of reviews averaging 4.9/5.0 stars on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

I’ve also appeared on CNN Underscored and on the #1 Travel Podcast (WDW Radio).

My Corporate Experience in Marketing & Branding

In my corporate life, I’ve spent over 15 years in Marketing, helping large brands like Disney and Kaplan create efficient and impactful digital marketing and social media campaigns. These roles have also afforded me the opportunity to work directly with partners at Alphabet (Google, YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Yelp, Microsoft (Bing), and beyond.

I’m proud to have also earned a Business Analytics certificate from Harvard Business School Online and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Fordham University. In both programs, I graduated top of my class.

My Approach

I believe that hard work, integrity, and a rewarding mission can take you far in life, and it’s how I operate. In serving small businesses and social media creators, I truly want to help you find success, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. While there are best practices on Social Media that can offer a great starting point, I’ve often found success by going beyond the industry standards and focusing instead on my audience. It’s not about doing what everyone else has already done. It’s about finding the right way to showcase your brand, building trust and loyalty for your business.
